Munish Bharadwaja | Sergeant | Los Angeles Police Department

Sergeant Munish Bharadwaja has been with the Los Angeles Police Department since 2005.  Munish was born in India and immigrated to the United States as a young child. Prior to joining the LAPD, he was a business entrepreneur and vice president for a telecommunications company.
As a police officer, Munish worked the OCB Safer Cities Initiative, 77th Division Narcotics Enforcement Detail, 77th Community Relations Officer, and as an acting Senior Lead Officer.  He also ran the 77th Division Community Police Advisory Board and Clergy Council.
As a Sergeant, Munish worked as a patrol supervisor in Northeast Division and Harbor Division.  He was also the OIC for OSB SRTF.  He is currently the AOIC for the Training Coordination Unit at Training Division.
He has received the Human Relations Award, a Unit Citation for his work with Safer Cities, and recognized by Peace Over Violence for his proactive work with victims of domestic violence. Sergeant Bharadwaja has also served with several non-profit organizations in the roles of advisor, board member, and president.   He currently serves as a commissioner for the Infrastructure and Natural Resources Committee in the City of Fullerton.
